Old Overholt is a very popular rye whiskey in the USA and matured for four years. It bears the '100 Proof' seal, which originally stood for 7/4 of the alcohol content. Abraham Overholt founded his farm distillery in 1810, at that time still in Pennsylvania. In the meantime, the Old Overholt brand is produced in Frankfort Clermont Kentucky.
