Remedy originated during Prohibition in the United States of America. During this time, the rum was sold in pharmacies under medical pretexts. Rums from the Caribbean countries of Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados and the Dominican Republic form the basis of the Remedy Spiced Rum spirit. Spices such as vanilla, orange peel and cinnamon are added to the Blend.
