This year's Oktoberfest Edition 2024 from the Bavarian distillery Slyrs was given a nine-month finish in beer barrels from Bavarian craft beer breweries. Barrels in which beers with very intense and strong flavours were stored were primarily used for this.

Located at the Schliersee lake, Slyrs Distillery ranks among the best-known whisky distilleries in Germany. Its name is derived from the old name of the region. The first Whisky was already distilled on the stills of the traditional Lantenhammer distillery in 1999, but in 2007 Slyrs Whisky found its home in the newly erected Slyrs Distillery in Neuhaus.

Geschmack: Ausgewogene Süße, Noten von reifen Äpfeln und Birnen, ein tiefes Malzaroma, das an geröstetes Brot erinnert, mit leichten Anklängen von Karamell und Vanille.
Abgang: Harmonische Mischung aus Kräutern und Hopfen, ein feiner, leicht herber Abgang aus den verschiedenen Bierfässern.
