For the Slyrs Organic Malt Whisky, the distillery from Schliersee in Bavaria focuses on environmentally conscious production and uses certified organic malt. In addition, recycled glass is used for the bottle and local paper from Gmund am Tegernsee is used for the packaging and labelling. Local grain and pure mountain spring water form the basis for the malt whisky, which is matured in carefully selected American white oak barrels.

Located at the Schliersee lake, Slyrs Distillery ranks among the best-known whisky distilleries in Germany. Its name is derived from the old name of the region. The first Whisky was already distilled on the stills of the traditional Lantenhammer distillery in 1999, but in 2007 Slyrs Whisky found its home in the newly erected Slyrs Distillery in Neuhaus. lees meer

Aroma: Frisch mit Honig und Getreidenoten dazu leicht florale Akzente. Zarte Vanille, Nuancen von der Amerikanischen Weißeiche und ein Hauch von Zitrusfrüchten.

Geschmack: Weich und ausgewogen mit Anklängen von Eiche, Pimentwürze und süßem Malz. Dezent cremige Noten von Vanille und Karamell folgen, ehe Facetten von grünen Äpfeln und Birnen hinzukommen.

Abgang: Mittellang und erfrischend, mit einem sanften Nachhall von Eiche und Honig.
