In Scotch, a "Deacon" is a skilled and competent craftsman. The Scotch whisky portions in this blended whisky come from Islay and from distilleries on the Scottish mainland. They are not named, but are distilled in copper Pot Stills, which the design of the bottle is also reminiscent of.
