Product description
Master Distiller Billy Walker created this 9-year-old single malt for the Wood Collection, in which he and his team matured whiskies matured in bourbon casks in various sherry casks. This limited bottling was therefore first matured in former bourbon casks before being finished in fino sherry hogsheads. The fino sherry with which the hogsheads were topped imparts nutty flavours and fruity notes to the whisky. The Speysider is then bottled at 48% without the addition of colour and without chill-filtering.
