The 10-year-old Linkwood is part of the Signatory Vintage series. In this series, Signatory tracks down special Single Malts, some of which come from closed distilleries and rare single casks. Andrew Symington founded his company at the end of the 1980s and has always maintained good contact with the distilleries. More than 10,000 casks are stored in the independent bottler's warehouses. The Speyside spent its maturation period in first and second-fill Oloroso sherry casks. The Single Malt is bottled at 43% vol. at drinking strength and is not coloured. It is characterised by a particularly mild taste and is therefore also suitable for beginners. All bottles in this series carry precise information about the distillation and bottling dates as well as the casks.

Peter Brown founded the distillery in 1821. At its inception, the site had only two stills, and Whisky operation wasn't entirely legal yet. The distillery formally began operations in 1825, after Whisky distillation was legalized. Brown's original distillery operated with only one wash still and one spirit still.

Aroma: Süß, trockener Sherry, Orangenöl, Kirschwasser, Pflaumenmuss, sehr fruchtig, angeröstete Mandelplättchen auf einem lauwarmen Hefezopf
Geschmack: Süß, trocken, Marzipan, Früchtebrot, würzig, prickelnde Eiche, Ingwer, Schokolade
Abgang: Mittellang, süßherb, würzig, dunkle Schokolade, Eiche
Kommentar: Schöne fruchtige und abwechslungsreiche Nase, sehr zugänglich und gefährlich süffig, guter Single Malt für diese Preisklasse
