The Bladnoch Alinta is a heavily peated Single Malt from the 205-year-old distillery and was still produced by the previous owners in 2009. The whisky is matured in first fill amontillado sherry hogsheads, which were personally selected by Master Distiller Dr Nick Savage. Bladnoch has been owned by the Australian private entrepreneur David Prior since 2015. With no added colouring and no chill-filtration, the Lowlands 2023 was bottled at a strength of 46.7%, which makes it very well-balanced.
