Description du produit

The Artesano Peated Whisky Cask Finish is produced in Panama and matured there for 8 years in ex-bourbon barrels in a tropical climate without using the solera process. Afterwards, the rum is transferred to Germany and refined directly at the producer from the Black Forest for 20 months in a whisky cask from the Ben Nevis distillery, which was previously filled with a peated Single Malt. No sugar is added and meticulous care is taken to ensure that the barrels are completely emptied before the rum is matured in them, so that the sugar content is below 5 g/litre.

Aroma: Zunächst dezent und zurückhaltend, leichte Noten von Orangenzeste und etwas Vanille gepaart mit einem Hauch Whisky öffnen sich nach ein paar Minuten im Glas.

Geschmack: Weiche Rumnoten mit Akzenten von Melasse und einem Hauch Holz. Zum Ende hin schmeckt man den Whiskyfass einfluss deutlich mit einer sehr subtilen Rauchnote.

Abgang: Torfrauch und Whiskynoten mit Akzenten von süßer Vanille.
