Arôme Strong oak with toasted marshmallows and marzipan. Sweet pudding with dried fruits, cherries and some smoke.
Bouche Citrus, later vanilla, butterscotch and biscuit with honey.
Finale Soft with a slight oiliness, citrus and a pinch of salt.

Description du produit
The name Kilkerran comes from Gaelic and is derived from 'Ceann Loch Cilli Chiarain'. This was the name of the first settlement on the site where the town of Campbeltown now stands. The malt is produced at Mitchell's Glengyle distillery. The distillery was closed for over 80 long years, but was refurbished and reopened by Springbank. The first distillate flowed on 25 March 2004. The 12-year-old was created from 70% Bourbon and 30% Sherry casks.

Kommentar: Ein sehr leckerer Whisky. Angebranntes Karamell mit Früchten und Lagerfeuer Rauch. Ein Küstenstil mit Salz ist auch dabei. Rundes Ding aber nicht langweilig.
