A German importer presents single cask bottlings from its own cask stocks at well-known and also rather unknown distilleries in The Alba Trail Series. The North British Single Grain from the Lowlands celebrates its premiere in the series and was stored for 28 long years in a first fill Bourbon barrel, which is rather unusual for a Grain. The resulting exotic fruit notes combine with a subtle smokiness in the background.
