	Variété	Single Malt Whisky
	Arôme	Rich, dry and mild with the typical Talisker peppery note. In addition, maritime hints of seaweed and iodine, salt crystals and the sweetness of dried fruit. Towards the end, creamy vanilla notes and smoky accents of sandalwood.
	Bouche	At first velvety and soft with facets of cream sweets, then more intense and with notes of salt, pepper and some chilli. Towards the end, components of creamy caramel sweets with refreshing undertones.
	Finale	Long lasting with a balanced blend of chilli, salt and pepper with a light smoky flavour.

Description du produit

This 45-year-old Single Malt is one of the oldest available from Talisker. Twelve heavily burnt American oak casks were temporarily stored in the ice of Canadian glaciers for 96 hours, causing the surface of the casks to expand in the freezing temperatures. This exceptional finish allowed the former bourbon casks to ideally release their sweet and spicy components to the whisky maturing in them. In 2020, the collaboration with the environmental protection organisation Parley of the Oceans was started in order to put the ambitious goal of protecting and rebuilding 100 million square metres of natural marine space into practice. This rarity is also being brought to market in collaboration with the organisation.

Aroma: Reichhaltig, trocken und mild mit der für Talisker typischen Pfeffernote. Dazu maritime Anklänge von Algen und Jod, Salzkristallen und der Süße von Trockenfrüchten. Zum Ende hin cremige Vanillenoten und rauchige Akzente von Sandelholz.

Geschmack: Zunächst samtig und weich mit Facetten von Sahnebonbons, dann intensiver und mit intensiven Noten von Salz, Pfeffer und etwas Chili. Gegen Ende Komponenten von Sahnekaramellbonbons mit erfrischenden Untertönen.

Abgang: Lananhaltend mit einer ausbalancierten Mischung aus Chili, Salz und Pfeffer mit einem leichten Raucharoma.
