The Wagemut - Jamaican High Ester Cask Strength - The Spirit Traveller No. 1 is the first bottling in The Spirit Traveller, the bold new series from bottler Wagemut. The special rum comes from two renowned Jamaican distilleries, although these are not publicised. The rum was aged for 17 months in first-fill red wine barrels made from French oak, which were originally used to mature Austrian Zweigelt wine. With a remarkable alcohol content of 64.3% vol., this high-proof rum offers a strong, complex and characterful flavour. Only three barrels were produced.
