Die Familie Macpherson-Grant ist seit 1546 auf dem Ballindaloch Anwesen zu Hause, wo seit etwa 1820 in der Single Estate Malt Whisky Distillery auf dem Gelände auch Whisky hergestellt wird. 2016 wurde die Brennerei sogar mit dem Icons of Whisky Prädikat ausgezeichnet, welches für die Erhaltung schottischer Whisky-Tradition vergeben wird. Dieser 9-jährige Ballindaloch Single Malt Whisky reifte in einem einzelnen Oloroso Sherry Butt und wurde mit 60,9 % vol. in Fassstärke und ohne Kühlfilterung und ohne Zugabe exklusiv für Deutschland abgefüllt.
