With this time-honoured Glenallachie, Billy Walker has created the Speyside distillery's oldest single malt to date. The special Pedro Ximénez sherry hogsheads, Oloroso sherry puncheons and virgin oak barrels were selected with the greatest care and used for the maturation of the distillate from 1989. An enclosed booklet contains notes written by Billy Walker in which he describes the selection of the casks and the history of the 35-year-old whisky.
